Ed and Lorraine go away for the night, leaving Judy in the care of her babysitter Mary Ellen. Ed goes to check out the hood, when Lorraine sees the ghost of the girl from the accident, telling Lorraine that she likes the doll. She then looks out by the cemetery and sees other spirits walking around. One of them pushes Ed into the street, causing him to nearly get hit by a truck.
She abruptly leaves Annabelle's glass case unlocked, and the terror begins shortly afterwards with the spirit of Annabelle "Bee" Mullins unleashed. That night, Annabelle begins releasing other spirits, such as the Ferryman, the Bride, a Feeley Meeley board game, and the Black Shuck. Daniela finds the door's key in the Warren's home office and starts exploring and touching artifacts, ultimately trying to contact her late father with an artifact called the Mourner's Bracelet. She accidentally leaves Annabelle's glass case unlocked after hearing a knock that makes her think that her father is attempting to communicate. The terror begins shortly afterward with a knock at the front, but there's no one there.
ANNABELLE COMES HOME
Deadline Hollywood calculated the net profit of the film to be $64 million, when factoring together all expenses and revenues. It grossed over $231 million worldwide and received mixed reviews from critics, who found it less frightening than its predecessors. Unless, of course, you count the death of Daniela's father who is killed in a car accident.
She calls out asking for a sign of a presence there with her, but specifically that of her father. Daniela ignores the sign that says to not open the case under any circumstances, and she opens it to put Annabelle back up. She then hears the smoke alarm since she left the cake going in the oven for too long, which is found by Judy and Mary Ellen after Judy comes home due to scraping her knee. Demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren confiscate the Annabelle doll from nurses Debbie and Camilla, who claimed that the doll often performed violent activities in their apartment. During the drive back home, the doll summons spirits to attack Ed, but he narrowly survives.
Storyline
On the contrary, his timely return to the narrative ends up saving Judy after she heads outside to grab Mary Ellen's inhaler from her car. She's immediately targeted by the hell-hound, who rips apart the roof of Mary Ellen's car in an attempt to get at her, but Bob rushes out at the sound of Judy's screams and lays out the wolf with his guitar. This gives Judy the chance she needs to escape back into the house with the inhaler, and Bob takes the opportunity to rush back to the chicken coop to hide from the now enraged hell-hound. Ed and Lorraine return the next morning, and the girls approach them to recount the eventful night.
The end credits start with a dedication to the real-life Lorraine Warren, who died shortly before this film's release. While babysitting the daughter of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a teenager and her friend unknowingly awaken an evil spirit trapped in a doll. In February 2019, Joseph Bishara—who composed the scores for The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Conjuring 2, and The Curse of La Llorona—was revealed to be scoring Annabelle Comes Home. Mary Ellen goes to the shop with her best friend Daniela , who is also Anthony’s older sister.
But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target--the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends. A future, bloody, and screaming Daniela appears on the television screen after having answered a cursed telephone. When the real Daniela reaches to answer the telephone, Judy and Mary Ellen, who have escaped from the spirits attacking them, rush in and prevent Daniela from doing so.
Bob comes out and smashes his guitar against the Hellhound’s face, causing it to vanish. Mary Ellen is stalked by a haunted samurai armor, which lets her hear the noises of all the people the wearer killed. In 1968, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren decide to bring the Annabelle doll to their home after claims from two nurses, Debbie and Camilla, that the doll would often perform violent activities in their apartment. The film starts with Ed and Lorraine Warren taking Annabelle away from a trio of friends who claim to have been haunted by her. On their way back home, they are told by an officer that the road is closed off due to an accident.
Male love interests in horror films are usually jerks who try too hard to be smooth or ultimately prove themselves to be cowards. In a startling display of competency, Bob figures out how to survive, and he doesn't abandon anyone in the process. At the end of the film, he gets a date with Mary Ellen and seemingly enters into a relationship with her. As Patrick Wilson's Ed Warren jokingly says at the end of the film, "Bob's got balls." While Bob has a strong survival instinct, it doesn't mean he hides for the entire film.
The film is dedicated to Lorraine Warren, who died on April 18, 2019. Annabelle Comes Home was released on Digital HD on September 17, 2019, and on Blu-ray and DVD on October 8, 2019. It was released in a May 2022 Blu-ray collection with the other The Conjuring Universe movies. Cimino provides the voice of Kevin in the Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel. The girls then finally lock Annabelle in the case, and everything goes back to normal. Mary Ellen walks around the house with a flashlight and finds coins on the floor. She investigates and is stalked by The Ferryman, who terrifies her when he makes his skeletal appearance. The spirit attempts to pull her towards him, but Mary Ellen uses her flashlight to make him disappear. She then runs to Judy’s room, frantically calling out to her, but she is still sleeping. She looks under her sheets to find Annabelle, plus the spirit of Annabelle Higgins screaming at her.
He enjoys singing and playing guitar and had his song "Everything I Own" included on the film's soundtrack. After the song, Mary Ellen rushes out to meet Bob, encouraged by Judy and Danielle. However, Danielle had already unleashed the spirits within the artifact room, including the hell-hound. The ravenous beast only really appears outside, meaning Bob is the only person at the house that can easily be targeted.

The group manage to wrestle their way into the basement once more and imprison the evil Annabelle doll back in her blessed glass case, bringing an end to the villainy. But when another teenage girl joins the group, she stumbles upon the evils in the basement and unleashes hell on the house.
Sometime later, the Warrens welcome Mary Ellen, who will be in charge of babysitting their daughter, Judy, at the house while they travel overnight to investigate another case. At school, Judy notices a ghostly priest that begins following her. Mary Ellen's friend, Daniela, arrives uninvited to the Warrens' home, who is secretly curious about speaking to the dead. She sneaks into the artifacts room and starts examining every item, ultimately trying to contact her late father.
